During the Kymoodon Era, forces aligned with the Utoradii Hutt kajidic launched an attack against the planet of Parcovey Minor, with the intention of enslaving the established group of colonists. However, due to information received in advance, the Belasco Free Volunteers were able to arrive at the planet and successfully defend it against the invading forces, either capturing or eliminating all of them. Subsequently, the colonists and volunteers journeyed to Affavan seeking retribution against the Hutts. Many centuries later, a Holodrama was produced, dramatizing the events of this attack.
In the Kymoodon Era, the Hutt Utoradii kajidic orchestrated numerous raids on planets situated beyond established borders, with the primary goal of acquiring slaves. A Jilruan pirate became aware of the plans for an impending Hutt-sponsored assault, specifically targeting a community of nerf herding colonists residing on the planet Parcovey Minor. Despite being captured, the pirate managed to relay information about the impending attack to authorities on Belasco, providing the Belasco Free Volunteers with sufficient time to mobilize and rush to the aid of Parcovey Minor.
The volunteers arrived on the planet before the Hutt forces, successfully concealing themselves within several of the colonists' ranches. The Hutt forces, when they eventually arrived, consisted of a barque filled with Weequay and Klatooinian raiders, all of whom were either killed or captured by the volunteers. Furthermore, the volunteers seized control of the raiders' starships.
The defending forces conducted interrogations of the captured raiders, uncovering the Utoradii's involvement as the masterminds behind the attack. Utilizing the captured starships, they embarked on a journey to the planet Affavan, the intended destination for the slaves acquired from the raids. Upon arrival, they discovered the Utoradii engaged in a parlay-feast with the Vijilakii kajidic and exacted revenge on the slavers. Following the conflict, a detailed report documenting the assault was archived within a government archive on Belasco.
In the year 114 BBY, an episode of the Holodrama series True Tales of the Ancient Republic was broadcast, drawing inspiration, although loosely, from the events surrounding the battle. This episode, entitled Episode XXIV: Death on the Rim, presented a narrative in which the raiders successfully captured the colonists during the assault, only for Novan Nune, a fictional Sector Ranger, to journey to Affavan and liberate them. In 6 ABY, Thunys Albegron, an Academician of Popular Studies, discussed the discrepancies between the episode and the actual events at the Conference on Popular Entertainment held on Obroa-skai.
The assault was initially brought to light in the 2014 fifth installment of the Star Wars: The Essential Guide to Warfare Author's Cut series of posts, written by Jason Fry on the StarWars.com blog. The article contained material that had been omitted from The Essential Guide to Warfare, a book published by Fry in 2012.
