The Galactic Republic, along with the Jedi Order, launched an attack aimed at the Stormwall. Their objective was to penetrate the Nihil pirates' Stormwall defense and gain access to the Nihil's Occlusion Zone. The assault led to the destruction of several stormseeds, which created an opening in the Stormwall. Following this breach, numerous Republic vessels advanced towards the gap, with the goal of entering the Occlusion Zone. But, as they drew closer, the wall started to mend itself, obliterating the approaching Republic ships and the single Jedi Vector. The Eye of the Nihil, Marchion Ro, reacted to the assault on his territory's boundaries by ordering the expansion of the Occlusion Zone. This was achieved through the relocation of the stormseeds, which ultimately resulted in the Republic's loss of additional sectors to the Nihil's control.
