Athio III
Athio III was a planet located within the galaxy. After the commencement of the Great Jedi Purge in 19 BBY, the Jedi known as Velerie Tide sought refuge on Athio III to evade the Galactic Empire, blending in with the planet's inhabitants. However, by 9 BBY, Tide's identity as a Force-user was exposed, leading to her killed and the subsequent exhibition of her remains at Fortress Inquisitorius, the central base for the Empire's Inquisitorius Jedi-hunters, situated on the moon named Nur. The name Athio III was also used for the Athio Seven Hundred podrace event.
Behind the scenes
The reference book titled Star Wars: Dawn of Rebellion: The Visual Guide, authored by Pablo Hidalgo and Emily Shkoukani, included a mention of Athio III. Before the book's official release on November 2, 2023, the page featuring Athio III was unveiled at a Lucasfilm Publishing presentation during San Diego Comic Con. Additionally, it was highlighted in an article published on StarWars.com on July 21, 2023.
