Escape from Genetia

The Ro family's escape from Genetia happened approximately between 397 BBY and 387 BBY. On the world of Genetia, the Evereni Ro family members were ambushed during the night; the townspeople thought the family was responsible for the failed harvests. During this assault, Yana Ro's father was murdered, but Marda Ro's father fought with great intensity so his family could get away. The grandparents of both Yana and Marda Ro also died in the attack. Yana's mother and Marda's mother managed to flee with the two girls after murdering a Theelin family and commandeering their vessel.
