An Evereni male from the era of the High Republic was an Evereni. He and an Evereni female became parents to Yana Ro, an Evereni daughter, around 402 BBY. The three of them, along with Yana's cousin Marda Ro, Marda's mother and father, and the cousin's grandparents, resided on the planet Genetia in the Expansion Region between roughly 397 BBY and 387 BBY, during Yana's early childhood.
During this period, townspeople, holding them responsible for failing crops, attacked the family, leading to the deaths of Yana's father and the grandparents. Marda's father fought fiercely to ensure the girls and their mothers could escape, which they did. In 382 BBY, while Yana and Marda belonged to the Path of the Open Hand cult located on Dalna, a planet in the Outer Rim, Yana remembered her father's demise when she pondered how the Path's Children—who acquired Force artifacts for Elecia Zeveron, the Path's leader—had joined the Path.
The young-adult novel The High Republic: Path of Deceit, a 2022 release by Justina Ireland and Tessa Gratton as part of Phase II of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project, included a mention of Yana Ro's father.
