An Evereni male was the biological father of the Evereni girl known as Marda Ro. Sometime between approximately 397 BBY and 387 BBY, this father, Marda, and her mother resided on the Expansion Region planet called Genetia, together with Marda's cousin, Yana Ro, her mother and father, and the aforementioned cousin's grandparents.
During this time, the family came under attack from the inhabitants of a local town. Marda's father fought with great intensity to ensure the two cousins and their respective mothers were able to flee Genetia. In 382 BBY, while the cousins were both members of the Path of the Open Hand cult, Yana thought back to the actions of Marda's father, even though she was aware that her cousin had no memory of them.
A male Evereni existed during the High Republic Era. Around the time of 397 BBY, he—together with a female Evereni—fathered an Evereni daughter named Marda Ro. Between approximately 397 BBY and 387 BBY, the trio lived on the Expansion Region planet Genetia alongside Marda's cousin Yana Ro, her mother and father, and also the cousin's grandparents.
During this time, when Marda and Yana were very young, townspeople who believed that the family was the cause of failing crops attacked them. The attack resulted in the deaths of the grandparents, as well as Yana's father. To guarantee that Marda, Yana, and both of their mothers could escape from Genetia, Marda's father fought the townspeople with great ferocity. After the mothers killed a family of Theelins and took their ship, the four departed from the planet.
The cousins eventually journeyed to the Outer Rim planet Dalna as refugees and joined the Path of the Open Hand cult. Yana recalled their last night on Genetia, although she knew that what Marda remembered was fragmented and incoherent. In 382 BBY, when she and Marda discussed her plans to leave the Path, Yana mentally remembered the attack on her family. She also noted that while she did remember Marda's father's actions, her cousin did not.
Marda Ro's father was mentioned in the 2022 young-adult novel The High Republic: Path of Deceit, which was written by Justina Ireland and Tessa Gratton as a part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's Phase II.
