Attark, a Hoover male with brown skin and black eyes, was the crime lord Jabba the Hutt's pet, owned by him. Despite this, he possessed remarkable intelligence and skill in repairing weapons. This Hoover resided within Jabba's Palace on the desert planet Tatooine, where he performed maintenance on various weapons and devices for the Hutt.
Though physically frail and seemingly innocuous, Attark would frequently prowl the palace at night, ambushing sleeping individuals to feed on their blood, utilizing his nose trunk to navigate through clothing or around coverings. This behavior was perilous, given that the palace was largely inhabited by criminals who would react violently to such nocturnal attacks.
For the 1983 film, Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi from the original trilogy, Attark was developed as a puppet, and a prototype version was also constructed. However, the character doesn't appear in the movie's final version. Within current Star Wars canon, his initial mention occurred in the 2015 reference book titled Star Wars: Absolutely Everything You Need to Know.
