In the year 137 ABY, Captain Furske was in command of the Avenger. It functioned as the flagship for Admiral Peto Kelsan, who commanded the Coruscant Third Fleet. The Avenger, together with the rest of the fleet, had the duty of defending the planet Ralltiir. This was when the Galactic Alliance Remnant and the Empire-in-exile launched a surprise attack on the planet, with the goal of capturing as many Imperial vessels as they could.
Admiral Peto Kelsan, upon understanding that his forces were being defeated, accepted the terms of Admiral Edouard Fenel and gave the order for the fleet's surrender. However, Captain Vaclen Tor of the Ardent-class fast frigate named Steadfast convinced him to reconsider and remain dedicated to his duty. Following this, Kelsan instructed his crew to program their ships for self-destruction and then evacuate in the escape pods. Peto Kelsan chose to remain on board the Avenger as the ship was destroyed, along with the remainder of the fleet.
