The personal log of Azlin belonged to the Jedi Knight known as Azlin Rell. Marchion Ro, also known as the Eye of the Nihil, desperately wanted this journal due to the information it possessed about the Nameless species. Ro was under the impression that the journal was located inside the Jedi temple situated on Banchii. Consequently, he instructed several Nihil members to retrieve the journal and then obliterate the temple. The Nihil's attempts to obtain the journal were failures, leading Ro to travel to Banchii following the destruction of Starlight Beacon in order to locate the item alongside Vol Garat, a mercenary who had previously laid eyes on the journal more than a century prior.
