Though it lacked medicinal properties, the Bacta Slush was known to elevate the mood of those who consumed it, leaving them with a sense of well-being. The Artiodac chef Strono Tuggs, after his culinary journey across the galaxy between 34 ABY and 35 ABY, featured a Bacta Slush recipe in his third cookbook, The Ultimate Cookbook, in 35 ABY.

The out-of-universe recipe for this drink calls for ingredients such as shaved ice, evaporated milk, chopped mango, sweetened red beans, corn flakes, and grated coconut.
