Bahb, a male Zeltron, joined Princess Leia Organa's staff in 4 ABY as an attaché, alongside fellow Zeltrons Jahn, Marruc, and Rahuhl. Despite Leia's reservations about Zeltrons, Admiral Ackbar insisted on their assignment to maintain crucial diplomatic relations with their home planet. Bahb and his Zeltron companions were thrilled by the prospect of working alongside Leia, whose exploits were well-known to them, and Han Solo—though they initially confused him with Lando Calrissian.
Their initial mission involved attending a diplomatic party held on Kabray. Regrettably, the Nagai chose this event to cripple the Alliance, resulting in the capture of the entire delegation, including Leia's newly assigned team. Confined to a room, the four Zeltrons formulated a strategy, boosting Jahn upwards to pounce on an approaching Nagai guard. Subsequently, the Zeltrons reversed the situation, overpowering the Nagai raiding party, seizing their weapons, and turning them against their captors. Their courageous actions left a strong impression on both Han and Leia, who began to develop a fondness for the Zeltrons. The leadership of the Nagai also took note of their actions, leading them to later target the Zeltron's home planet.
Upon their return to Endor with their captured adversaries, Bahb and his Zeltron comrades surrendered them for interrogation. They were present when the invading Nagai fleet emerged from hyperspace, and they were the first, alongside Leia, to detect their arrival. Bahb and Jahn then hurried off to locate and alert Luke Skywalker, who was in the forest. After relaying the warning and heading back to the tracking station to observe the fighter squadrons engaged in combat in space, the four Zeltrons unexpectedly found themselves entangled in a ground skirmish against a contingent of Maccabrees and Nagai who had infiltrated the moon's surface. After successfully fending off the initial attacker, a larger force arrived, with one seizing Bahb by the neck. Luke Skywalker's timely intervention, revealing the Maccabree's vulnerability, was the only thing that saved the Zeltrons' lives. Following this, they evacuated Endor along with the rest of the Alliance forces.
After fleeing Endor, Bahb and his Zeltron companions participated in the Battle of Zeltros. Their actions on Kabray had inadvertently contributed to the planet being identified as a target. During the conflict, they were apprehended by the Tofs, who mistakenly believed them to be high-ranking Alliance officers. Consequently, they were imprisoned on the Tof flagship, the Merriweather. Luke Skywalker, collaborating with Hoojibs and Hiromi, spearheaded a successful operation to liberate them.
