A secret cult, devoted to the Sith Lord Darth Sion, existed within the Baran Do order and utilized a monastery belonging to them. The Baran Do were a group of Force-sensitive sages from the Kel Dor species. The Sith worshippers offered tributes to the long-deceased Sith Lord in this ancient temple, around 3643 BBY. In the era of the Cold War between the Galactic Republic and the reconstituted Sith Empire, approximately around that year, a person affiliated with one of the warring factions dispatched an associate to investigate the cult after learning of its presence. This associate located the monastery and recovered the offerings that the cult members had dedicated to Darth Sion.
The 2011 BioWare video game Star Wars: The Old Republic featured the monastery in the Crew Skill mission titled "Corruption of the Baran Do." However, details about the mission's conclusion were subsequently removed from the game.
