The Battle of Boz Pity represents a significant engagement that occurred during the last year of the Clone Wars. Obi-Wan Kenobi discovered substantial Separatist operations on Boz Pity while he was searching for Asajj Ventress. A mission to investigate this activity was supported by the Jedi Order, which then escalated into a large-scale conflict that involved some of the most prominent figures from both warring factions.

More than a hundred warships belonging to the Separatists had established a blockade around the graveyard planet of Boz Pity. The Jedi intended for the Star Destroyer called Intervention to emerge from hyperspace in the space between the blockade and the planet itself. Anakin Skywalker, arguably the most talented pilot within the Jedi, attempted to execute this maneuver. However, he brought the ship out of hyperspace too near to the planet, causing it to be pulled in by the gravitational forces. After launching all of its fighters and [escape pods](/article/escape_pod-legends], the Intervention was damaged beyond repair and crashed onto the surface of Boz Pity. In the meantime, Commander Denn Wessex commanded the Venator-class Star Destroyer Redoubt in the space battle that was occurring above.
Clone trooper units that landed from the Intervention's escape pods were quickly engaged and suffered significant losses, forcing them to retreat until the Jedi Generals arrived with reinforcements. The Jedi Generals then rapidly broke through the droid ranks. The Republic forces, now fully engaged with the Confederacy of Independent Systems on the planet's surface under the leadership of the Jedi Generals, swiftly began targeting the CIS medical facility. Master Soon Bayts tried to secure the entrance, quickly eliminating the cordon of droid guards with the initial wave of troops. Shortly after, General Grievous appeared, crushed Bayts' head with his hand, and proceeded to massacre the clone forces. Simultaneously, Obi-Wan Kenobi infiltrated the CIS medical center, where he discovered Asajj Ventress in a bacta tank with Count Dooku watching over her. Following a brief conversation with Dooku, Asajj destroyed her bacta tank and engaged Obi-Wan in combat.
On the battlefield, Alpha and the remaining members of Squad Seven continued to hold off the massive waves of droid forces. Grievous soon reappeared in the thick of the battle, swiftly eliminating several clones before impaling Alpha. Mace Windu then dropped a STAP on Grievous, incapacitating him for the remainder of the engagement.

Across the battlefield, Kit Fisto and Anakin attempted to assist Alpha, before Obi-Wan was sent crashing through the wall of the Separatist base by Ventress. Their battle carried them back onto the battlefield, where Anakin joined the fight. However, Obi-Wan sabotaged Anakin's attempts to kill Asajj, believing that she could still be redeemed. Dooku also departed the medical center, only to be attacked by Mace Windu shortly after. The two engaged in a short, inconclusive duel before Dooku's MagnaGuards grappled the Jedi, disarming him and dragging him into a pit, allowing Dooku to escape. While Windu was occupied, Dooku made his way to the evacuation point, taking Grievous's damaged body with him. As he fled, Dooku allowed Mace Windu, a long-time rival and former friend, to involuntarily beat him.
Meanwhile, Asajj disengaged from Obi-Wan and Anakin and headed for the Separatist shuttles to escape the main battle. However, Dooku, not wanting her to delay his escape, ordered her to be shot and left her behind as a distraction. Asajj attempted to kill Obi-Wan with a jagged piece of steel, but Anakin thwarted her attempt as the two Jedi approached her. She then expressed some remorse, suggesting that Obi-Wan might have been right about her all along, and appeared to die. Obi-Wan had her body transported to Coruscant. The blockade was then either dispersed or retreated.

Asajj Ventress had employed Sith meditation to fake her death. She awoke in the medical transport and instructed the pilots to take her away from the Jedi, the war, and Count Dooku. Commander Wessex's actions during the Battle of Boz Pity turned him into a hero, and Palpatine was convinced to promote him to Moff soon after.
Following the battle, Boz Pity was turned into a staging area for Grand Army units under the command of Jedi General Quinlan Vos, who were fighting in the Outer Rim Sieges. Furthermore, Vos was deployed to the area shortly after the events of the Battle of Coruscant and the Siege of Saleucami.
The 22nd Air Combat Wing, along with its unit of clone commandos, Ion Team, were stationed on Boz Pity before being dispatched to the Battle of Murkhana.
