Bellicose (Firewolf man-of-war)

The Bellicose, a Firewolf man-of-war of the Chiss Ascendancy's Defense Force, was commanded by Chiss Admiral Ers'ikaro. During 18 BBY, the Bellicose intervened to prevent the battle at Csaus between the Tahmie and Droc families of the Chiss from escalating further. Captain Clarr'os'culry of the Clarr family and Patriarch Clarr'ivl'exow referenced the warship's intervention when they discussed the information Grysk operative "Jixtus" had obtained regarding a crisis threatening the Ascendancy.

While a third of the Chiss Expansionary Defense Fleet journeyed to the Unknown Regions planet Sunrise to capture Senior Captain Thrawn, Supreme General Ba'kif of the Chiss ordered the Bellicose to remain within the Ascendancy's borders. Mitth Patriarch Mitth'urf'ianico brought up the vessel's continued presence in the Ascendancy during a Circle of Unity, a gathering of all the families' patriarchs.
