The initial reference to the bio-cast occurred within "The Children from Tehar," specifically episode six of Star Wars Resistance's first season. This episode aired on November 4, 2018. Later, the term "biocast" was officially recognized in "Bacta Basis: Medical Care in the Star Wars Galaxy," an article penned by Amy Ratcliffe.
