"Blade Squadron: Zero Hour" is a tale crafted by David J. Williams and Mark S. Williams, complemented by artwork from Chris Trevas. This narrative, which appeared in Star Wars Insider 160, serves as both a follow-up to the preceding short story "Blade Squadron" and a connected introduction to the novel Aftermath. Set in the aftermath of the Battle of Endor, it centers its attention on the squadron's actions amidst the Battle of Malastare. The squadron's mission involved taking out the planet's shield generator along with its communications center; however, Gina Moonsong defied commands and proceeded to obliterate Moff Valco Pandion's vacation palace as well.
