Bodo Linx, a male Nuxan, earned a living as an informant. The Galactic Empire's killing of his family turned him into an enemy of the Empire. He encountered Leia Organa, Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, and Sana Starros on Barnahof, providing Organa with the specifics for one of his contacts located on Brentaal IV.
During the time known as the Imperial Era, the Galactic Empire murdered Linx's entire family, causing him to become an opponent of the Empire. He worked as an informant, trading information for credits.

In a cantina found on [Barnahof](/article/barnahof], Linx had a meeting with Rebel Alliance heroes Leia Organa, Luke Skywalker, and Han Solo. Sana Starros was secretly transporting them after the Empire drove them away from their base at the Mako-Ta Space Docks. Linx possessed a datacard with the details of Qensog, a contact on Brentaal IV who he thought could assist in reuniting the scattered Rebellion. While they were discussing the arrangement, stormtroopers entered the cantina, forcing the rebel fugitives to hide under the table.
The stormtroopers demanded to see the identification of both Starros and Linx, which they both showed. After the stormtroopers displayed holograms of the rebel leaders who were currently hiding beneath them, Starros claimed that she had not seen any of them. When the stormtroopers questioned the large size of the table for only two people, Starros explained that it was due to the Nuxan's inherent smell, which Linx confirmed. The stormtroopers then left, and the rebels emerged from beneath the table. Linx gave the datacard containing his contact's information to Organa, who expressed her gratitude. Starros and the rebels departed, and Linx wished them success and cautioned them to be careful. Eventually, the rebels met Qensog on Brentaal, and the Herglic gave them coordinates that led them to the Home One in the Kaliida Nebula.
Linx stated that he lacked morals, referring to himself as a "monster." Nevertheless, the deaths of his family at the hands of the Empire made him sympathetic to the Rebellion's cause, and he was prepared to help them. As a reptilian Nuxan, he had [green](/article/color] eyes and skin that was green with brown spots.
Bodo Linx made his initial appearance in the canon comic Star Wars (2015) 56 from 2018, which was written by Kieron Gillen and had illustrations by Andrea Broccardo.
