The Kaliida Nebula existed as a nebula within realspace, positioned in proximity to the Naboo and Ryndellia star systems. During the Clone Wars, Anakin Skywalker and Shadow Squadron utilized the Kaliida Nebula as a means of circumventing the path of the heavy cruiser Malevolence. This maneuver allowed them to engage the Malevolence, thereby thwarting the Separatist Alliance's planned offensive against the neighboring Kaliida Shoals Medical Center.
After the assault on the Mako-Ta Space Docks throughout the Galactic Civil War, a segment of the Alliance Fleet, commanded by Admiral Gial Ackbar, sought refuge by concealing themselves inside the nebula.
