Bongo Lasers, a derivative of the Tribubble bongo, functioned as destroyers within the Gungan fleet. These vessels featured a frontal array of lasers designed for engaging enemy ships. Sharing a crescent-shaped design akin to the Tribubble bongo, they were piloted by a pair of crew members, each in their own cockpit. Powered by a single propeller, Bongo Lasers were fabricated at shipyards by the Bongomeken Collective, requiring an investment of 100 carbon units and 25 nova crystals units. An upgrade path existed, leading to the enhanced Bongo Fast Lasers. Their initial deployment occurred circa 3000 BBY during the War of the Gungan tribes in the Raid on Spearhead. More than three millennia afterwards, they were involved in combat against the Trade Federation during the occupation of Naboo in 32 BBY.
The video game Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds (2001) and its expansion pack (2002) feature Bongo Lasers. Within the game, they represent the destroyer-class unit for the Gungan faction.
