The sixth episode of the animated micro-series Star Wars Forces of Destiny's second season is called "Bounty Hunted". It premiered on March 19, 2018.
Leia, Chewbacca, and R2-D2 journey to Ord Mantell to find Han's longtime acquaintance, Maz Kanata, seeking her assistance in rescuing Han from Jabba. Maz orchestrates a confrontation with the bounty hunter Boushh, enabling Leia to acquire Boushh's helmet and armor for an ideal disguise.
Following their escape from Cloud City, Princess Leia Organa, Chewbacca, accompanied by R2-D2, head to Ord Mantell to rendezvous with a longtime friend of Han Solo. Leia inquires of Chewbacca whether this old friend is trustworthy, to which he responds with an affirmative roar. Leia observes that the location is "charming" and then asks two hooded figures where she might locate Maz Kanata. The two figures move aside, revealing Maz, who is crouching near a crate. She expresses her delight at seeing Chewbacca, whom she refers to as her boyfriend, and allows the Wookiee to embrace and carry her.
Maz identifies Leia as a friend of Han's and inquires about Han's situation. Chewbacca informs Maz that Han has been frozen in carbonite. As Maz begins to walk away, Leia intervenes, reminding her that Chewbacca indicated she could provide assistance in a difficult situation. When Leia presses for a plan, Maz advises patience, suggesting that the solution will present itself. At that precise moment, they come under fire from the Ubese bounty hunter known as Boushh. While taking cover behind a crate, Maz assures Leia that this is the solution. When Leia questions how, Maz explains that she requires a disguise and that a bounty hunter would be perfect.
Leia and Chewie engage Boushh in a firefight, while R2-D2 activates a crane in the vicinity. Leia successfully shoots the blaster from Boushh's grasp. Boushh advances toward Leia, wielding his shock blade-tipped lance. Leia seizes Boushh's lance, and the two confront each other. At that moment, R2-D2 emits a whistle. Leia retreats as the crane slams Boushh against a wall. Boushh attempts to activate his thermal detonator, but Maz incapacitates him with her electrostaff. Maz remarks that Boushh's armor would be a suitable fit for Leia, while Leia adds that a thermal detonator could prove useful.
Later, aboard the Millennium Falcon, Leia expresses her gratitude to Maz for her assistance and admits that Maz was not what she expected. Maz responds that she rarely is and tells Chewie that she approves of Leia. She instructs Chewie to inform Han that Leia is a keeper.
