The fifth installment of the animated micro-series Star Wars Forces of Destiny's second season is titled "Run Rey Run". It was launched on March 19, 2018.
Rey is inside a Star Destroyer, scavenging for parts, when Teedo corners her, seeking a valuable component. Rey attempts to caution Teedo that taking the part will cause the vessel to fall apart, but he ignores her. After Teedo is incapacitated by falling debris, Rey must assist them both in escaping.
Rey navigates the debris field of a Star Destroyer situated on the planet Jakku. She comes to the conclusion that the structure is unstable and decides to quickly locate her desired item and leave. Little does she know, Teedo is observing her actions. While exploring the Star Destroyer's corridors, Rey discovers several pieces of discarded metal and believes they will suffice. She spots another item connected to a generator and attempts to detach it. Realizing that doing so would destabilize the structure, Rey stops.
Before she can depart, Rey is confronted by Teedo, who is wielding a JSP-14 pistol. Teedo demands that she hand over the objects she has salvaged at gunpoint, and Rey reluctantly complies. Teedo takes the bag and then notices the remaining object on the generator that Rey couldn't remove. Despite Rey's warning, Teedo greedily removes it, triggering the structure's collapse. Rey dodges a falling beam and recovers her bag. However, she notices that Teedo is pinned beneath a beam. After freeing him, she carries him on her back as the Star Destroyer crumbles around them.
Rey employs a rope to descend to the hangar bay with Teedo. They slide out of the Star Destroyer just as the structure collapses completely. Following their escape, Teedo attempts to reclaim Rey's bag, but Rey reminds him that she saved his life. He begrudgingly returns the bag to her. While Teedo mutters in his language, Rey responds with a "you're welcome" and departs on her speeder with her salvaged goods.
