Bruzo, a Pantoran male, resided at the Barakat Outpost situated on the planet of E'ronoh. Circa 382 BBY, he contested Princess Xiri A'lbaran's claim to the throne by invoking an ancient E'roni ritual, due to his conviction that she lacked the merit to rule E'ronoh. Despite A'lbaran's victory in the challenge, Bruzo attempted a subsequent attack while her attention was diverted. However, Prince Phan-tu Zenn of Eiram, her fiancée, intervened and halted Bruzo by striking him in the face before he could reach the Princess.
The character of Bruzo first appeared in The High Republic: Convergence, a 2022 novel for adults penned by Zoraida Córdova. Tyler Bruso originated the character's name, using it as a tribute to his own family.
