Bulabird egg


Eggs from the Bulabird were harvested from the bulabird, a species of bird native to the planet Chandrila situated within the Core Worlds. These egg could be transformed into deviled bulabird eggs, a dish characterized by the filling of the hardened egg whites with a yellow mixture, adorned with a black topping. These deviled eggs were, in turn, an ingredient found within the Chandrilan Cheese Board, a Chandrilan offering intended to highlight the region's finest tastes. The Artiodac chef Strono Tuggs referenced the eggs in 35 ABY within the Chandrilan Cheese Board recipe featured in his third cookbook, entitled The Ultimate Cookbook, which he released after a culinary journey across the galaxy from 34 ABY to 35 ABY.

Behind the scenes

The Bulabird eggs were included in the 2023 publication Star Wars: The Ultimate Cookbook, authored by Jenn Fujikawa and Marc Sumerak. The real-world recipe, out-of-universe, that mentions them suggests using standard, large eggs as a substitute.
