Creatures known as Bulbas were a type of small rodent species native to Skuhl. They possessed light brown fur, a small, pink, and constantly moving nose, large, dark eyes, and a lengthy tail covered in fur that ended with a fluffy bunch. The fragile nature of Bulbas' bone structure led to a symbiotic bond with a local vine species. Mothers of Bulbas constructed nests utilizing dying vines, and the seeds from the vines' flowers would embed themselves into the delicate skin of the young, establishing themselves within their bodies. Subsequently, the roots would coil around the young Bulbas' bones, providing them with the necessary strength. Upon the death of a Bulba, fresh vines would sprout from its remains, and Bulba mothers would then utilize their flowers to construct nests, thus initiating a new cycle for both species.
