Byno Doubton

Byno Doubton, a dedicated and passionate supporter of the Galactic Republic, played a role in establishing the Commission for the Protection of the Republic (COMPOR). He was aided in this endeavor by Wilhuff Tarkin, who also hailed from Eriadu. During the Clone Wars, he created at least a pair of propaganda works for the Republic's communications campaign that aimed to foster unity. The first of these was a poster called "Jedi Unite for Peace," but it was never distributed. This was due to Supreme Chancellor Sheev Palpatine's suggestion that the Jedi Order not be featured in propaganda, as the Jedi were uneasy about their roles as military leaders during the conflict.

His second creation, "Unite," was a collaborative effort between COMPOR and the Republic War Office. It replaced the Jedi with clone troopers from the Grand Army of the Republic to boost morale. After the Republic was reformed into the Galactic Empire at the war's conclusion, Doubton became an instructor within the Commission for the Preservation of the New Order's Sub-Adult Group. Eventually, he retired to his family estate on Eriadu.
