However, Meetra Surik, the ship's current owner, returned and was compelled to defend herself against the attackers. Upon reaching Cahhmakt, Surik presented him with a choice: abandon his slaving activities, or face death at her hands. The obstinate Trandoshan chose to fight, leading to his demise at Surik's hands on board her ship.
