Cantonican gold silk, alternatively referred to as Cantonican golden silk, was a gold-hued silk material utilized in the creation of brocade. This type of silk had its origins on the Outer Rim planet of Cantonica, a [desert](/article/desert] world. Famously, it was incorporated into the cape worn by the former rogue, Lando Calrissian. In an effort to gain his assistance in curbing her son's recent misbehavior, Clariah, an old friend of Lando, offered to return the cape he longed for during a conversation with him. Lando expressed great enthusiasm, enthusiastically listing the components of his cape, notably Cantonican golden silk. Subsequently, he consented to assist in rectifying her son's problematic conduct.
The narrative Tales from Wild Space: Family Affair, Part 1 featured Cantonican golden silk; this story was included in the tenth issue of the Star Wars Adventures comic book anthology series. Pierrick Colinet and Elsa Charretier penned the story, with Charretier also handling the color art. The story was released alongside the other content of the comic issue on May 9, 2018.
