The primary government structure in Lessu City, the capital city of Ryloth, was the Capitol, also known as the capitol building. Situated in the Octagon district, it functioned as the central hub for the Ryloth Head Clan. During the Clone Wars, when the Separatists occupied Ryloth, Wat Tambor, the Emir, utilized this structure as the base of his operations.
Following the formation of the Galactic Empire, the building transitioned into the Empire's main planetary command center. The Capitol, which featured a spacious plaza for speeches by planetary officials, also housed offices, holding cells, and a dedicated hangar for Orn Free Taa's personal shuttle, who was a Senator.
