Caverns of Mystery!, appearing as the seventh part of The Keeper's World, initially saw publication within Pizzazz 7 in April of 1978. Subsequently, the complete narrative sequence was re-published within the United Kingdom spanning Star Wars Weekly 47–50 during 1978–79, and also within the limited-edition comic Star Wars 0 in 1999.
As Imperial stormtroopers advance upon Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa, C-3PO, and R2-D2, they find themselves rescued by the elemental abilities wielded by Fire, Rain, Wind, and Earth. Capitalizing on the Imperials' distraction, the Rebels, accompanied by the elemental children, retreat further into the depths of the Keeper's Temple, ultimately encountering The Keeper, a formidable entity composed of advanced computerized systems. The Keeper rebukes the children for compromising her location and, disregarding their objections, assaults the Rebels with a potent energy beam.
