In the year 5 ABY, during the Galactic Civil War, Chadawa became the target of the 204th Imperial Fighter Wing as part of the Imperial Operation: Cinder, which aimed to inflict retribution upon the world; however, New Republic General Hera Syndulla and her troops hindered their efforts.
