Charlie, a clone trooper who served the Galactic Republic throughout the Clone Wars, once abandoned his assigned squad. Subsequently, he was brought back to Kamino and reassigned to a squad composed of other clone deserters, under the leadership of "Heater." Harboring the conviction that his desertion was an error, Charlie sought to regain the Republic's trust. Together with his fellow deserters, he participated in a mission aimed at destroying a weapons depot belonging to the Confederacy of Independent Systems, following which the entire unit opted to rejoin the Republic's ranks.
