Chatter's designation was a clone major within the radio communications division, and he fought in the Second Battle of Geonosis.
Originally, Chatter was intended to be included in "Landing at Point Rain," which is the fifth episode from the second season of the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Ultimately, his scenes were removed before the episode was finalized.
Later, both conceptual artwork and a number of animatics that showed Chatter were included in the Jedi Archives portion of the initial disc of Star Wars: The Clone Wars The Complete Season Two.
