Ciphas was a commander in the Dread Host, a humanoid male, during the Galactic War that pitted the Galactic Republic against the Sith Empire. Alongside Heirad and Kel'sara, he was among the troops that went with Kephess to Asation; the three of them were killed in action while protecting the route to the Grand Hypergate via the Quadrilateral Forum.
In the Operation "Terror From Beyond" in the video game Star Wars: The Old Republic, Ciphas, Heirad, and Kel'sara are encountered together as the second boss.
