Heirad served as a male Rattataki commander within the ranks of the Dread Host. His service occurred during the Galactic War that pitted the Galactic Republic against the Sith Empire. Alongside Ciphas and Kel'sara, he was a member of the contingent that went with Kephess to Asation. This group of three perished in combat while defending the route to the Grand Hypergate by way of the Quadrilateral Forum.
Heirad, together with Ciphas and Kel'sara, is featured as the second boss encounter in "Terror From Beyond." This Operation was included in the video game Star Wars: The Old Republic via Game Update 1.4. Although not directly seen in the game, Heirad's in-game model utilizes Rattataki textures underneath his helmet.
