Issue number 18 of Classic Star Wars, a series released by Dark Horse Comics, is titled Classic Star Wars and can be found under the main series listing of Classic Star Wars.

This Classic series is comprised of recolored and reformatted editions of the Star Wars daily newspaper strip, originally created in the early 1980s by Archie Goodwin and Al Williamson. To adapt the stories for the comic book format, Williamson added additional artwork and panels to improve the story's flow.

Luke's quest to locate the vanished S'ybll unfolds amidst a treacherous "Paradise Detour," all while he is hunted by a familiar enemy, the Night Beast. The puzzle surrounding the recurring and inexplicable appearances of Tanith Shire, Ben Kenobi, and the Night Beast is ultimately resolved... revealing S'ybll's self-serving and malevolent intentions for the young Jedi. Following a timely rescue by the Rebellion, Luke manages to break free from S'ybll's grasp. Accompanying his fellow Rebel heroes, he finally reaches the new Rebel stronghold on Hoth, heralding "A New Beginning." Upon arrival, they are met by an irritated Princess Leia, who, without delay, assigns Luke, Han, and Chewie yet another perilous assignment before they can even settle in.
