Cover art

Between 1981 and 1984, the well-regarded comic-book creators Archie Goodwin and Al Williamson produced a widely-read series of Star Wars newspaper strips. These strips, which detailed the adventures of Luke, Leia, and Han occurring between the first and second films, exemplified science-fiction adventure at its finest.

Dark Horse adapted these strips, modifying them to function as a cohesive narrative within a series of comic books. Al Williamson himself reworked and expanded numerous panels to suit the new format. This particular volume compiles the first seven issues of the popular Dark Horse comic, and it features a fresh introduction penned by Archie Goodwin, brand new cover artwork, and previously unreleased art taken from Al Williamson's sketchbooks.
