Clink was an LE-series droid in the service of a Gran trader residing on Pantora. This particular droid, accompanied by astromech droids named 225 and DK-3, operated under the guidance of the protocol droid designated CG-67. The diminutive droid was not known for his patience with incompetence.
Not long after the conclusion of the Clone Wars, Echo crossed paths with Clink and the other droids after being acquired by a trader when his comrade Hunter sold him, due to the trader's mistaken belief that Echo, who was in disguise, was a droid. Echo proceeded to remove the droids' restraining bolts, assigning them the task of repairing their starship, known as the Marauder. Despite Clink's efforts to assume leadership, CG-67 firmly established her dominance. Upon completion of the Marauder's repairs, Echo expressed his gratitude to Clink and the other droids, entrusting them once more to CG-67's supervision.
