Droid constructors, which are also referred to as construction droids or builder droids, were a type of droid designed for building purposes. The construction of the Trade Federation laboratory was one of the responsibilities of builder droids. Thane Kyrell and his team once delivered a shipment of droid constructors to the frigid planet of Zeitooine while he was functioning as a co-pilot and navigator for the Wookiee named Lohgarra.
Following the great flood that occurred on Kamino, the native Kaminoans utilized repulsorlift construction droids to erect their contemporary cities. Tipoca City, their planetary capital, was one such city; it was built on massive stilts that reached all the way down to the waterworld's ocean floor.
