In the year 3631 BBY, during the events of the Battle of Asylum, the Control Spar was seized by the forces under the command of Eternal Empire Emperor Arcann, which resulted in the grounding of all ships, rendering them vulnerable to the Eternal Fleet's attacks. Koth Vortena dispatched HK-55 to pave the way for himself and The Commander to reach the spar; subsequently, they made their way there via a compact shuttle. While Koth and HK-55 remained behind to impede a squad of Knights of Zakuul, the Outlander proceeded into the Control Spar unaccompanied. Following the successful deactivation of the docking clamps, which enabled the vessels, including the Gravestone, to depart, the Outlander was confronted and engaged in combat by Arcann. As the duel concluded, Arcann plummeted from the Control Spar into the port beneath, yet he survived the descent, while the Outlander and their companions made their getaway aboard the Gravestone.
