The Corellian Dreadnought functioned as a capital ship and was utilized by the group known as the Five Worlds.
Corellian Dreadnoughts possessed distinctive blue, egg-shaped hulls. These ships, intended for ship-to-ship combat at close range, especially against other capital ships, featured missile launchers and numerous turbolaser turrets distributed densely and uniformly across their exterior. According to the Millennium Falcon's threat assessment system, their firepower was estimated to be at least double that of an Imperial-class Star Destroyer.
The Five Worlds commissioned the construction of these dreadnoughts at the Kiris shipyards, situated within an asteroid field on the periphery of the Corellian system, with clandestine construction operations commencing circa 30 ABY. By the year 40 ABY, three such vessels had been completed and subsequently deployed in the Blockade of Corellia.
During the ensuing conflict, the three vessels demonstrated capabilities exceeding initial expectations, inflicting substantial damage on multiple enemy fleets. They were later deployed during the Battle of Hapes, where they met their ultimate defeat. Two of these Dreadnoughts were destroyed during an operation aimed at turning the Hapes Consortium against the Galactic Alliance.
