Unbreakable

title: Unbreakable

The Unbreakable, an Imperial-class Star Destroyer, functioned as the flagship for Admiral Corleque within the ranks of the Galactic Empire. Following the Scourge's infection of the droids aboard the [Executor], which served as the flagship for Sith Lord Darth Vader, Corleque was sent on his Star Destroyer accompanied by a fleet of four additional vessels. Their mission was to annihilate the Executor and eliminate all personnel on board, including Vader and Admiral Firmus Piett. Nevertheless, Corleque paused briefly because Piett had previously held back an evacuation transport for a mere four seconds to rescue Corleque. This hesitation afforded Vader and his droids the necessary time to reactivate a fail-safe mechanism, deactivating all droids on the Executor. However, Corleque's own flagship then succumbed to the Scourge, and its fail-safe mechanism was non-functional. Piett, in a repeat of earlier events, waited for four seconds, but Corleque was unable to quell the Scourge. Piett then gave the order for the other ships to open fire on Corleque's flagship, resulting in its destruction. Despite the destruction of his ship, Corleque survived, but he faced punishment in the form of a demotion for his failure to prevent his Star Destroyer from falling to the Scourge.
