Corleque was a member of the human species who held the rank of admiral within the Imperial Navy. In the year 3 ABY, Administrator Sly Moore and Corleque commanded a squadron of three Imperial II-class Star Destroyers during a mission ordered by Emperor Palpatine with the objective to kill the Sith Lord known as Darth Vader while in Red Space. To intercept Darth Vader, Corleque and Moore deployed a swarm of hundreds of TIE fighters; however, the Sith Lord successfully destroyed a number of fighters and made his escape into a nebula populated by a subspecies of the summa-verminoth.

During the reign of the Galactic Empire, Corleque was a human who served the Empire. While serving in the Imperial Navy in 3 ABY, Corleque served under Firmus Piett during the Battle of Comantira; Piett deliberately delayed the evacuation by four seconds in order to ensure that Corleque's delayed shuttle could rendezvous with the escaping transport. Eventually, Corleque achieved the rank of admiral and commanded a task force consisting of three Imperial II-class Star Destroyers. Corleque and his forces aided Administrator Sly Moore in carrying out the command issued by Emperor Palpatine to kill Darth Vader, the Sith Lord, along with the Sith assassin Ochi of Bestoon, within Red Space.
Darth Vader received a warning from Moore that their Star Destroyers were capable of eliminating him; however, the Sith Lord responded by stating that, just as Ochi had failed, they too would be unsuccessful. Corleque expressed confidence that the cannons of the Star Destroyers could have destroyed Vader's interceptor; however, Moore instructed that a number of TIE fighters pursue the Sith Lord's starship. After Darth Vader had destroyed them, Corleque released all remaining TIE fighters. To get away, Vader piloted his ship into a nebula inhabited by a creature that was a subspecies of the Summa-verminoth. When the admiral inquired about the creature, Moore explained that it was the galaxy's most formidable predator. Although the creature eliminated several TIEs that were pursuing Vader into the nebula, Vader was able to avoid it and escape.
As the Scourge of the droids was spreading, without the knowledge of many, across the galaxy, Corleque was in command of five Star Destroyers from his flagship, the Unbreakable. While the wider Empire was unaware of the specifics of how the droids aboard the Executor had been infected by the Scourge, Mas Amedda declared that it could not be allowed to spread, and consequently ordered Corleque to destroy the Executor, operating under the assumption that Vader had failed to contain the Scourge. However, Corleque, believing that Amedda was more interested in Vader's death and wishing to repay Piett's actions during the Battle of Comantira, delayed the destruction and sent a rescue team. Vader and his personal droids ultimately succeeded in preventing the Scourge from taking over the Executor. Nevertheless, the Scourge managed to spread to Corleque's flagship. Piett again gave Corleque four seconds to fix the issue, but then ordered the fleet to destroy the compromised vessel.

Corleque had hair of a black color, brown [eyes](/article/eye], and skin with a tan complexion. The admiral's preference would have been to have the Star Destroyers' cannons fire upon Vader; however, Moore gave the order to deploy the TIE fighters. Furthermore, he held Firmus Piett in high regard, having served under him during the Battle of Comantira, where Piett waited for four seconds, giving him the opportunity to board the evacuation transport prior to its departure. Corleque also demonstrated concern for his crew, pleading with Piett to consider the thousands of lives at risk when his flagship was compromised; however, Piett, once again, granted him only four seconds before initiating the attack.
Corleque was seen wearing a green uniform, along with a green kepi cap, black gloves, and black boots. His uniform also included a rank insignia plaque in addition to four code cylinders.
Corleque made an appearance in Darth Vader 10, the comic book that was the tenth issue of the Star Wars: Darth Vader comic book series. Marvel Comics published the comic on February 10, 2021, with Greg Pak as the writer and Raffaele Ienco and Neeraj Menon as the illustrators.
