Battle of Comantira

The Battle of Comantira occurred within the Galactic Empire during the Imperial Era. At this battle, the individual who would become Imperial Admiral Corleque served under the command of Firmus Piett, who would also later achieve the rank of Admiral. During the conflict, a transport designated for evacuation was scheduled for launch; however, the shuttle carrying Corleque arrived three seconds behind schedule. Surprisingly, Piett gave the order to delay the transport's departure by four seconds, enabling Corleque's shuttle to reach it.

Years later, sometime between 3 ABY and 4 ABY, Admiral Corleque, by now an Admiral, remembered the Battle of Comantira. This recollection occurred after he received orders to destroy the Executor, the flagship of the Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Vader where Piett was serving as admiral, which had been seized by scourged droids. Corleque's intention was to reciprocate Piett's earlier action at Comantira by rescuing him. However, forces under Vader's command repaired and activated the vessel's fail-safe mechanism, leading to the droids' defeat. Subsequently, Corleque's flagship, the Unbreakable, was attacked by droids, compromising his ship. Despite Corleque's objections, Piett, upon learning of this development, mirrored his action at Comantira by waiting four seconds before ordering the Executor and ships within Corleque's fleet to eliminate the Unbreakable.
