"Crash Course," the sixteenth and concluding episode of Star Wars Forces of Destiny's initial season, premiered as part of the first special on October 29, 2017. Subsequently, it was also made available on YouTube on November 1.

Sabine Wren is putting the finishing touches on her speeder bike on Garel, specifically in Garel City. She and Hera Syndulla are preparing to meet up with Ketsu Onyo, another member of the rebellion. Wren sees this as a chance to evaluate the bike's performance, so she and Syndulla use it to travel to their meeting location. Soon after, Onyo arrives on a badly damaged speeder. She dismounts just before the ruined vehicle collides with a wall and explodes, and Onyo apologizes for being late.
Wren suggests that Onyo be more careful with her vehicles. Syndulla tasks Onyo with delivering a datacard to her informant. Wren volunteers to transport Onyo on her speeder bike, but Onyo clarifies that her contact requires her to arrive alone. With reluctance, Wren agrees to let Onyo use her bike independently, instructing her to return to the Ghost. Onyo briefly tests the bike before leaving and praises Wren on its smooth operation and aesthetic design. After Onyo departs, Wren expresses concern about her friend's reckless driving habits, lamenting her affection for the bike.
Later, aboard the Ghost, Wren anticipates Onyo's return, informing Syndulla that Onyo contacted her to confirm the mission's success. While Wren worries about her friend's delay, Syndulla assures her, advising her to relax. Shortly thereafter, a remorseful Onyo appears, stating that the bike performed well initially, before revealing the broken handlebar, implying that the bike is now unusable. Despite Wren's disappointment and anger, Syndulla advises the younger rebel to avoid acting impulsively.
Because Onyo shows genuine regret, Wren extends her forgiveness, offering to instruct her in engine repair over the next few days. Syndulla volunteers to gather the necessary tools, while Onyo accepts Wren's offer, and the two friends make amends.
