During the time of the High Republic Era, Creighton Sun, a Jedi Master, wielded a lightsaber that featured a blue blade and a crossguard. Following the Attack on the peace summit which occurred at the Second Spire on the moon of Jedha, he employed this lightsaber to assist in freeing Morton San Tekka's body from the debris in which it was stuck. Subsequently, he also used the weapon in both the Battle of Jedha and the Night of Sorrow.
