Crystal Chaos

The expansive, cavernous formation referred to as the Crystal Chaos of Cardovyte was characterized by a multitude of crystalline stalagmites. Illumination from a radiant star penetrated the cavern, producing reflections off the crystals. It had become the stuff of legends, even appearing as a setting in numerous holo-adventures. In 35 ABY, the Resistance pilot Poe Dameron navigated the Millennium Falcon, a YT-1300 light freighter, through the Crystal Chaos following a hyperspace skipping maneuver from the Sinta Glacier.

A number of First Order TIE/wi Interceptors also arrived via hyperspace and gave chase to the freighter; however, multiple interceptors collided with the stalagmites and were obliterated. Dameron successfully piloted the Falcon through the cavern, skillfully avoiding any impacts, before initiating another jump to the Mirror-Spires of Ivexia.
