Culper, a female of the human species, served as an aide for Moff Ghadi. In an effort to isolate him from Thrawn, she approached Eli Vanto with a job offer in the Imperial Military. Her motivations stemmed from resentment of Thrawn's accomplishments and the prevalent anti-alien views held by high-ranking Imperial personnel.
