During the time when the Galactic Empire held rule, Lee-Char, the King of Mon Cala, possessed a palace situated in Dac City on Mon Cala, a world located in the Outer Rim. This palace became a target for the Inquisitorius during the Battle of Dac City, ultimately facing destruction alongside Dac City and the other surface cities due to attacks from enormous sea creatures.
The first appearance of the Dac City palace occurred in the 2018 canon comic book Darth Vader (2017) 13, which was authored by Charles Soule and featured pencils by Giuseppe Camuncoli.
