Dakk was a Gotal of male gender who existed during the era of the Galactic Civil War. On the planet Naboo, specifically in the city of Kaadara, he functioned as the armorsmith for Borvo, a Hutt crime lord. A spacer delivered pieces of the carapace of [Borvo's acklay](/article/borvo%27s_acklay], which the spacer had defeated, to Dakk in the year 1 ABY. Dakk then fashioned a complete set of Acklay armor for the spacer, utilizing fur from Mountain tusk cats, feathers from Peko-peko, and hide from wild shaupauts that the spacer provided.
Dakk was featured as a non-player character within the video game Star Wars Galaxies released in 2003, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game that LucasArts published and Sony Online Entertainment developed; the game was shut down on December 15, 2011. He was incorporated into the game through the "Publish 28" update, which was launched on April 26, 2006.
