Throughout the conflict, Roohd identified with the Council of Neutral Systems, a fringe political group affiliated with the senate's Pacifist faction. Subsequently, he joined a select number of senators aiming to prevent the passage of the Enhanced Privacy Invasion Bill; he participated in a gathering of bill opponents at the Senate Building, which was disrupted by bounty hunter Cad Bane when he seized those present.
Following the Bombing of Coruscant's central power distribution grid, Roohd expressed his disapproval of initiating peace negotiations with the Confederacy of Independent Systems.
